What is God?

I have been thinking about the concept of God. And you don't have to believe in the supernatural to have a God.

Your God could be a robber holding a gun to your head, or your government or community or family, or father.

Who is a God? It is someone you look to for deliverance. It is someone you fear. It is someone you yield to, go along with, obey.

It is your commanding officer, your boss, it is peer pressure, it is mass movement, it is polarization.

Why does the idea of God exist?

There is many different understandings of God depending on your religion or even if you are non religious. For some people read a book and say that is what God said. Bear in mind people write books not god. The question is, is there life beyond this life and why do we exist and why do we have conciousness. There are many different schools of thought and many great divisions. There is no right or wrong answer. God is a question of faith. As an intelligent person I look at odds. So here we are, spinning round the sn at 66,000 MPH. We can see a solar system, wich is a minute partof a galaxy, of which there a millions of galaxies, where did it all begin? A big bang, well what was there before a bang? Is there a god, well probably not in the terms of what people habe written in religious books over the past 2,000 years but I guess there is one....

Every culture have its own God, it's simply religion, when you're hopeless, hapiness, bad luck, sickness, God appears as heal, helpness or a explaination for what'd happen in your life.
