GEARLOOSE

You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great
Bored of the stereotyped studies and competitions you have been participating in for so many years?? Knowledge is no longer complete when embibed within the four walls of the classroom.

IIT Kanpur is organising a techfest in the year 2009 and GEARLOOSE is a part of it. Gearloose is one such event in this direction. Here, we face some brainstorming and challenging but simple problems. Gearloose is a mechanical model making competition. In this you have to carve out mechanical model from a problem statement.
What you have to do is just register yourself and submit an abstract of what you are making and the principle behind your model. In the second stage you will be called for live demonstration.
Problems statements have been launched..!!!
Prizes of over Rs. 40000 to be won..!!!
So what are you waiting for??
