Default archimedes principle

Hello.

Im new here and would like to clarify my doubt.
tutorvista.com/physics/physics-experiments-for-class-9
Please check this link .

It says in the last ie. conclusion that,

Here we conclude that the loss in wieght of the body when dipped in the liquid is equal to the weight of the liquid displaced by the body. This phenomenon is known as buoyancy.

But I feel how can the iron block lose weight when dipped in water???

I feel its absurd.

Please help!
