Default KC Cole / String theory Expert /gets called out

KC Cole, though she has not even an undergrad degree in physics, is considered a greater expert than the thousands of physics Ph.D.'s, because she supports the bureaucracy/club/hoax that is String Theory.

"Peter - you actually should listen to Cole. I have never in my life heard such indescribable bullshit. How does this non-entity, who without doubt cannot even understand Aristotle, not to say Kepler or Galileo, much less Newton or Einstein or beyond, presume to tell an interested listener what physics is about?
It is extraordinary. Imagine if such a person gave medical advice, or piloting advice, or firefighting advice. “Well it’s only physics.” Wrong - physics is important. Most of modern life came from it."

I am stunned.

Here's the show where Cole launches Ad Hominem attacks against Lee Smolin and Peter Woit:

The webcast of the Science Friday segment to which anon refers above can be found at http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=6696466

It is entertaining to hear Cole use John Baez's crackpot index to persecute Woit & Smolin while defending String Theorists.

While Woit & Smolin have published papers and written books in physics, and while they actually have undergraduate degrees and advanced degrees in the subject from presigious institutions, cole only has her attitude and snark, which makes her an ideal defender of String Theory.
